The Spira Vase — 3D Printed Sculptural Vase
The Spira is defined by motion held still. A high-relief helical geometry winds the form from base to lip, creating a sense of rotational torque that makes the vase read differently from every angle — as though it's mid-turn.
Form & Function
Available in two editions depending on how you intend to use it.
The Sculptural Edition is made for dried florals, pampas, and standalone display.
The Watertight Edition features a hand-applied impermeable finish, suitable for fresh water and live stems.
Two sizes: Small (20cm) and Regular (25cm).
Material
Made from PLA — a bio-polymer derived from fermented plant starches. Structurally comparable to conventional synthetics, with a meaningfully lower carbon footprint. The surface carries DreamForm's signature digital grain: a texture that comes from how the object is built, not applied after the fact. On the Spira, the grain follows the helical lines of the form — the additive process and the spiral geometry pull in the same direction.
Provenance & Care
Every Spira is made to order in our UK studio. Zero-waste production, plastic-free archival packaging. Avoid environments exceeding 50°C and prolonged direct sunlight. Hand-wipe only; not dishwasher safe.
